Site Council Minutes

April 21,2009

Members present: Jamie Marks, Kathy Arola, Lisa Fraley, Ms. Dunn, Heidi Barnes

and Stephen Harrington

Call to order: Stephen Harrington called meeting to order at 4:37 pm

vote to adopt March minutes: was first motioned by Kathy Arola and seconded by

Jamie Marks (amendment: that we add that Ms. Dunn was at the March meeting)

Parent survey results: went over results. Results were generally very good, with 155 surveys returned.   Kathy will bring more info on Farm to School program.  Also talked about having parent nights on technology- open lab on open house and back to school night possibly. Also, try to use the messenger system more to get the word out on things going on..so we can make sure all our parents get the info they need for upcoming events etc.

We looked over the Bradley APS survey and API scores

Budget: looked at a 6 year budget overview with Kathy and talked a little about

some things that might be cut from our school next year.  LEP funding will stay.

School Plan: went over a few things in the plan and some targets we would like to

Achieve.  Plan due in October of next year.

Elections: we have 2 member openings for next year anyone interested let Kathy

know.
